Biography
I’m a board certified dermatologist with more than 10 years of experience treating patients of all ages. It’s been great to see the patients with whom I’ve established a connection keep coming back for quality care. Working at the Ohio State Outpatient Care Gahanna has shown me the impact that getting timely, efficient care without a wait can have on a patient’s overall healthcare experience. Here, I’m part of a friendly, compassionate team that will do everything in our power to help our patients get back to better health. I love getting to practice clinical medicine and perform dermatology procedures, even more so when I can combine those clinical responsibilities with mentoring medical students and residents.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my children, gardening, cooking and reading.

Dr. Plotner does an outstanding job in communicating what she is doing and looking for and what expectations were for my procedure and follow up. Her expertise means so much to me as she carefully examines my skin looking for areas that may need to be examined. I rely on her to find areas that may be a concern and biopsy them and refer me for further treatment if necessary. Dr. Plotner is friendly, fast and efficient and is a role model for other doctors. She should be commended for her outstanding service.
Dr. Plotner carefully and thoroughly reviewed my skin for any suspicious lesions. She spotted a pink area on my neck that I had not noticed but turned out to be a basal cell carcinoma. Her consistent care over several years now has kept any of my cancers from becoming a long-term issue.

Dr. Plotner is wonderful. I developed a bleed after I got home from my cyst removal, and even though Dr. Plotner had gone home for the day, she herself called to speak with me and then offered to meet me back at the office to take care of the situation. She found a popped stitch and replaced it and added another stitch for good measure. She did all this cheerfully and kept me from feeling like a burden to her time. I can't say enough good things about her professionalism, skill, and devotion to her patients.
