Biography
I’m a board certified dermatologist with more than 10 years of experience treating patients of all ages. It’s been great to see the patients with whom I’ve established a connection keep coming back for quality care. Working at the Ohio State Outpatient Care Gahanna has shown me the impact that getting timely, efficient care without a wait can have on a patient’s overall healthcare experience. Here, I’m part of a friendly, compassionate team that will do everything in our power to help our patients get back to better health. I love getting to practice clinical medicine and perform dermatology procedures, even more so when I can combine those clinical responsibilities with mentoring medical students and residents.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my children, gardening, cooking and reading.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

ALWAYS DOES A GOOD JOB IT WAS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE
Dr. Plotner was excellent in all regards. She was friendly, professional and very familiar with my history and patiently administered the most thorough exam I have had from a dermatologist. She found a cancer on my jaw and was clear in her description and recommendation of next steps she wanted me to take to remedy the issue.

Wonderful and kind doctor
My provider always listens to my concerns and attempts find solutions. Last year she recommended I have specialized allergy testing with their team and that was a good call. Allergies to ingredients in cosmetics and other items were identified. Avoiding these products has made my skin more comfortable with few episodes of irritation.
The provider is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I feel I am in great hands. She has discovered four skin cancers.
