Biography
I am a neuroimmunologist who specializes in treating patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other central nervous system disorders. I chose this specialty because of a personal connection. I have several family members living with MS and they inspired me to dedicate my career to helping patients with MS and other neuroinflammatory conditions lead high-quality lives.
In my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I also regularly treat conditions including transverse myelitis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) and neurosarcoidosis. My research is focused on enhancing care for neurological patients during postpartum, especially for patients interested in breastfeeding.
I love that at The Ohio State University Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center we have the expertise and resources necessary to provide holistic care. Patients benefit from several multidisciplinary clinics such as the fatigue and sleep disorder clinic, symptom management clinic and the quality-of-life clinic.
In my free time, I enjoy running and I have completed several half and full marathons. My favorite race so far has been the Walt Disney World Marathon.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
