Biography

As a nurse practitioner at Ohio State, I specialize in providing OB/GYN care to female patients of all ages. I provide routine obstetrical care as well as routine gynecological care. I also enjoy promoting women’s health prevention and education.

I feel that my experience in working with a diverse patient population has helped me to be a better patient provider. I have a background in family practice, urgent care and women's health that enables me to provide well-rounded care. I love empowering women to be healthy and knowledgeable when it comes to their own healthcare. I treat the "whole patient," seeing every individual as a unique person with consideration for his or her background, medical and family history.

I’ve been working at Ohio State since 2005 and love the opportunity for growth and development that’s available as an employee. I appreciate its strong foundation and reputation for providing state-of-the-art medical care.

When I’m not working, I enjoy running, shopping, watching movies and home decorating shows and spending time with my family.

• Member, Ohio Better Birth Outcomes (OBBO) committee - increasing use of long acting reversible contraception (LARC) among our clinic with the ultimate goal of decreasing Ohio infant mortality
• Work to increase community knowledge about treatment of perinatal mood disorders, as well as educating moms on the symptoms and available resources
