Biography

I am an internal medicine physician specializing in treating hospitalized patients of all ages at The Ohio State University Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. My patients and their families can always rely on me for compassionate care and support. My goal is to help them recover as quickly as possible with customized treatment plans tailored to their needs and values.

My research focuses on strategies to enhance inpatient care, with an emphasis on acute adult asthma and intravenous fluid management. In addition to my clinical and scholarly responsibilities, I am also deeply passionate about educating the next generation of physicians and advancing medical education.

Throughout my career, I have held multiple leadership roles in both undergraduate and graduate medical education. I currently am the program director of the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency and serve as an ambulatory clinic preceptor in the program’s Continuity Clinic. I’m also a clinical associate professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I have been honored with several teaching awards, including the Grant Morrow Excellence in Teaching Award, and inducted into The Ohio State University’s prestigious Courage to Teach Program.

I am a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians, and a member of the Academic Alliance of Internal Medicine. I also currently serve as co-chair of the Recruitment Committee for the Med-Peds Program Directors Association.
