Biography
As a family medicine physician, I use a comprehensive approach to patient care. I take the time to get to know my patients, understand their unique backgrounds and encourage them to ask questions. My goal is to empower individuals by developing strong patient-physician relationships, ensuring the highest quality care and individualized treatment plans. I specialize in anxiety, arthritis, depression, disease management and health promotion.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the rigorous academic environment and the ability to pursue my passion of helping others. Having the opportunity to teach residents allows me to impart my knowledge and experiences onto the next generation of physicians.
In my free time I enjoy playing with my dogs, reading, running, practicing yoga and traveling with my husband.

Academics and research
I joined The Ohio State University Family Medicine Department in August 2018, and am very excited to be working with such a wonderful group of faculty members and residents. I completed my Family Medicine residency at the University of Rochester, where I also served as a PGY-4 Chief Resident. In Rochester, I explored my interests in resident education and leadership by holding several leadership positions within the ACGME and my own residency program. I also participated in my program’s Global Health track in Honduras, which taught me how to provide sustainable international health care. I also have a special interest in resident wellness and have advocated for policy change, both at a national level, and within my former residency program.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025 Amanda Pannu has reported relationships with the companies or entities listed below. If you have questions about the relationships listed below, please ask the faculty member. Great
Always good
All good
We absolutely love Dr. Pannu. She always does a great job taking care of us.
Good experience, nothing bad
She was patient and caring.
Great understanding and kind.
I've had this same provider for a long time. And she listens to what I have to say or when I have questions about something.
Excellent
Dr Pannu is the best PCP I've ever had. She actively listens, is realistic relative to challenges with healthcare and offers viable alternatives whether they work for me or not. I have nothing bad to say about her.
All good
Great educator so that patient understands. Dr. Pannu is amazing.
She's always great
Professional
Dr Pannu was excellent in every way. Note: Dr Pannu ordered book work: as of this writing I've received the immediate technical results (said to be not yet reviewed by Dr P); but I assume that her commentary will be arriving soon.
The Provider was patient and caring and listen to all concerns
Dr. Pannu is excellent. When I moved to Cbus 6 years ago, I was 72 and hoped to find an older PCP. Upon meeting her, however, I had no doubt she'd be fine. Turns out she's finer than fine.
She is the ABSOLUTE BEST!
Listen to me very carefully. I understood my concerns and addressed them. I think she's the best.
Answered my questions honestly
