Biography
I have been a PT at Dodd Rehab Hospital since 2001, and now splits my time between clinical care and as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Division of Physical Therapy at the university. My clinical and teaching interests include neurologic and geriatric health conditions, with a special interest in stroke. I have treated patients in each specialty service at the hospital, including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and amputation.
My research interests relate to knowledge translation, standardizing outcome measures, and building a PT system of learning within the academic medical center. I am a neurologic residency faculty member, and am involved in the Academy of Neurologic PT, as the Co-Chair of a Knowledge Translation Task Force and on the nominating committee of the Stroke Special Interest Group.
