About Me
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that can result from numerous different factors and often leads to social difficulties. Working as a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy is very rewarding because of the opportunity to positively impact those around me through education and compassionate health care.
I pursue the highest level of excellence in providing care for many patients. I believe that a deep understanding of each patient’s unique situation is crucial in order to deliver the best individualized treatment and extend the knowledge needed for patients to make well-informed decisions for their care. I’m passionate about my career because I’m able to educate patients on not only the medical aspects of living with epilepsy, but also the social and emotional implications as well.
I love working at The Ohio State University because of the people. My colleagues’ positive attitudes and dedication to providing quality care make each of them exemplary examples for future generations of healthcare professionals.
Outside of the time I have devoted to medicine, I enjoy reading, watching movies and traveling when I am able.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/01/2020, Dr. Adeli has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
