Biography
I am a board-certified neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in treating patients with headache and migraine disorders, as well as concussion-related neurological conditions.
My patients can rely on me for high-quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I am an assistant clinical professor of Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

She is very kind but I think on a tight schedule
Care provider did not take form that was mailed to me prior to my appointment that listed multiple serious concerns. I had to give it to the rep who scheduled my next appointment after my visit with the provider. The provider interrupted me multiple times. The provider refused to let me go through my symptoms without repeatedly interrupting me to tell me how she thought my symptoms actually appeared, never being correct, I had to bring up a serious health concern multiple times, and did not actually address it until I plainly asked if I needed a different referral to discuss it. At that point she did not ask any follow up questions but was willing to put in for a test that she had just told me she didn't feel was necessary.

I've gotten profoundly better. The problems I'm having now are really because I got better. I'm far more active. And symptoms are so much better I don't always recognize a migraine until it progresses. Sometimes the phone messages and MyChart aren't adequate. But over the past year I have continued to improve. And I have a few more things to do to get more improvements after my last visit

She is a great doctor. She answers any questions I may have. She talks to almost step by step as to what she is doing.
Dr. V gave me the time I needed to explain my issues and she listened carefully to my concerns. She answered all of my questions. I felt free to ask her anything that I didn't understand. I was impressed with Dr. V.
She was very prompt. Told me exactly what may happen during my visit and care options afterwards.

Dr. Verdicia is absolutely amazing!I truly can't say enough about the care I have received from her. She has truly helped me immensely with the pain and discomfort. I have been dealing with for several years. She understands me. She listens to me and shows so much empathy like no doctor I have ever seen.I will continue to see her for my treatments and recommend her to everybody I know she is the most phenomenal Neurologist I have ever had the pleasure to come in contact with and be treated by. I was seen late and rushed to get my Botox injections. This was my first time having this done and I had a lot of anxiety. She did not go over the warnings or possibilities. I had to ask her the possible outcomes. I was then rushed to put my head down on the pillow so she could do the injections. After the injections I had concerns and questions she did not want to stay and answer because she kept telling me she has "a procedure to get to". When she left I was feeling like I was going to pass out and I was left in the room alone. I then asked the nurse my concerns and she went and got Ana. Ana came back and had a loud tone with me and informed me again she had "a procedure to get to". I also asked her if I should not get the injections because she was rushing and she told me I would be "wasting a $1,000 in Botox". I left feeling worried and overwhelmed.
I love my dr she does a great job and really has helped my headaches

Being this was my first time being here at your facility I felt my provider was thorough and actually did some things that I have never had done before in regards to my ongoing medical condition she was very polite and answered all my questions with more than one liners she didn't have my medical records yet so it was very scary for me to be there in a new place and she made me feel very comfortable and trusting

Instead of listening to me describe my symptoms, she automatically assumed it's migraines. Then reading the after visits summary, half of what is described in that summary was never even discussed. It seems like she was typing generic information just to get insurance to cover a procedure.
Dr Verdecia is a godsend! She is compassionate, thorough, provides excellent care mgmt./follow up and I am experiencing better pain mgmt., increased functionality, am better equipped to handles activities of daily living and have a better overall quality of life including work performance since starting treatment with her.

Did not have my Medical records then yelled at me because she couldn't find them. She said I was lying about getting tests done because there's no records for them. Very rude,she should not be practicing! Has it zero manners, she has no people skills whatever very arrogant condescending I have never had a doctor this horrific before

Provider doesn't refer to my chart for application of Botox. She asks me each time, remind me again. Has told me in the past she doesn't have time to discuss any issues if I'm receiving Botox. Make an appointment for with PA. I would like a different neurologist for my migraine care.
