About Me
My areas of expertise include general and gastrointestinal surgery, minimally invasive surgery and surgical oncology.
I am committed to providing individualized, science-based care for my patients. This involves a multidisciplinary approach, where researchers, clinicians and scientists work together to improve treatment, care and prevention. I work as part of a team of experts to design a plan targeted and tailored just for you.
This teamwork allows us to give you the right treatment at the right time, leading to fewer side effects and better outcomes.
I spend time with my patients, focusing on the unique history, health conditions and concerns of each individual. I take time to answer questions and explain procedures and ways that we can help.
I appreciate the added benefits of working in a university environment. All of us at Ohio State contribute to a comprehensive and innovative approach to health care. Physicians and other experts work as part of and benefit from a nationally recognized team.
From leading-edge research to compassionate care, everything at Ohio State is coordinated toward a better overall experience and outcome for patients.
When I'm not on the job, I take time to read and enjoy the outdoors.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
