Physician, Assistant Professor
Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine
Department: Emergency Medicine
As an emergency and primary care sports medicine physician, my goal every day is to help people reach their physical activity goals. I specialize in treating shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle problems, including issues caused by overuse injuries, loose ligaments, arthritis and fractures. I also offer ultrasound-guided procedures and management of musculoskeletal injuries in both adults and adolescents. I especially enjoy sideline coverage and the camaraderie with athletic trainers and other staff physicians to provide safe and comprehensive care to our athletes.
I have an approachable attitude and my patients can trust that I will do all I can to provide the best care possible. I thoroughly explain the underlying issue, discuss all treatment options available, and work with each patient to develop customized plans that help them reach their goals. I strive to be thoughtful and selfless, to work as a versatile team member, and to always seek growth opportunities in both my personal and professional development.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am also proud to help train future physicians. I am an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

The overall patient satisfaction rating is an average of all patient responses to the six doctor communication related questions shown below from the Clinician and Group Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
