Biography
I am a Speech Pathologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital where I have over 20 years of experience serving patients with acquired neurologic disorders. My specialty area is in the identification and treatment of swallowing disorders in patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cancer, and rare neurologic disorders. I am Board Certified in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (BCS-S). I am the dysphagia course lecturer for The Ohio State University Department of Speech and Hearing Science and am a fieldwork clinical instructor. In addition, I have lectured at the local, state, and national levels on the topic of swallowing disorders.
