Physician, Assistant Professor
Plastic Surgery
Department: Plastic Surgery
I am a plastic surgeon specializing in microsurgical reconstruction. My clinical areas of expertise include breast reconstruction, extremity reconstruction, and lymphedema prevention and treatment. In addition, I perform gender affirming surgery and general plastic surgery procedures.
Whether a patient has undergone cancer treatment or experienced a traumatic injury, reconstructive surgery is often the next step in helping to improve their quality of life and restore their sense of self. I believe that reconstructive surgery is uniquely tailored to each patient and their needs, and I am committed to working together with patients and their families to achieve the best outcomes for them. I am proud to be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team at the OSUWMC and the James Cancer Hospital, where we strive to support patients through every step of their treatment and recovery.
In addition to my clinical work, I am dedicated to research and surgical education. My research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and presented at national meetings. I also educate and mentor medical students, plastic surgery residents, and microsurgery fellows in my role as an assistant clinical professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
