Biography
As an orthopedic surgeon, I work with complex problems such as infections and reconstructive challenges in musculoskeletal care. I enjoy the opportunity for multidisciplinary care that my specialty provides. It’s rewarding to help patients to preserve their mobility and independence in situations where it might not otherwise be possible.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center gives me unparalleled confidence that I can offer each patient the best solution to even the most complex problems. My confidence in our excellent teams and expertise here at Ohio State allows me to welcome each patient as a person with individual needs, knowing I can provide that patient with excellent care, supported by our extensive resources.
My career at Ohio State allows me to work with a wide variety of patients as well as wonderful caregivers and an extensive network of experts. I enjoy the spirit for providing excellent care that is here at Ohio State.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors either in my garden or hiking and biking with my family. I’m also interested in the arts, including both performance and creative arts.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Sullivan saved my life and saved my leg. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her. She always knows my circumstances and health information, and we discuss that and how I'm getting along in my life. She is very compassionate and knowledgeable!!!

Dr. Sullivan is a very knowledgeable Dr in her field and she explained everything that happened in surgery to my understanding and the follow up was in a timely manner and explained what's next in the process.

Dr. Sullivan saved my life and my leg with her surgeries and treatment of my sepsis in 2018! I cannot thank her enough!! She is an expert in the area of hip infections. And believe me, she knows her field!!! Thanks to her I can still maintain my active lifestyle, now at 75.
