Biography
I am a primary care provider specializing in obesity medicine at the Center for Women’s Health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I treat a range of conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia, with an emphasis on preventive health strategies and sustainable weight management techniques.
I love my job because I am passionate about helping women achieve optimal health and well-being. My previous experience caring for hospitalized patients deepened my understanding of acute and complex medical issues, enabling me to provide comprehensive and well-rounded care. I believe in empowering my patients through patient education and by developing personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and values.
When patients come to see me, they can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where they can feel heard and valued. Whether patients are seeking preventive screenings, weight management support or assistance with managing chronic conditions, I am here to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their needs. Building a trusting relationship is my priority, and it’s a privilege to help guide each person on their unique health journey.
The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center offers a collaborative and innovative environment dedicated to excellence in patient care, education and research. I’m proud to be part of the team and to pay it forward by helping to educate the next generation of providers. I have worked with medical students and residents throughout my career and now serve as an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine in The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family. I believe a balanced life helps me stay energized and passionate about providing the best care for my patients.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Saraswat has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Dr Saraswat is incredible. She is attentive and understanding as well as knowledgeable about my medical history and the latest research. I absolutely adore her and her teams approach that is professional and welcoming

She is awesome, I do think the way doctors perform physicals or yearly exams has changed, it's just not my doctor. The only thing she checked was my breathing and my pulse in my wrists. No checking ears, nose, throat, stomach, nothing. It would be nice if patients were told why exams have changed. I did want her to check my throat and ears but I didnt realize she didnt till I was In my car leaving. Great Doctor though!!

My care provider was great. She addressed my concerns thoroughly and was helpful in making sure that I could secure additional appointments with other providers who specialize in what I was concerned about.
Dr Saraswat is one of the best providers I've seen at OSU. She was on time and she listened to me and HEARD me. My concerns were adequately addressed and I felt good leaving her office knowing that I had a plan that I had been educated about and was comfortable with. She was thorough with her assessment and plan. She was also kind, empathetic, and supportive throughout the entire visit. I feel blessed to have added her to my health care team and am looking forward to my next visit. I wish all OSU providers were as good as Dr Saraswat. She is a model provider for how care is done right.

I truly appreciate patience from the desk clerks as I struggled usiing the electronical "My Chart" Every answer was delivered to me with genuine smile on their faces.I also want to acknowledge the custodial/maintenance crew for the beauty and cleanliness throughout the premises of the building.
