Biography
I am Audrey Spencer, MD, and I specialize in trauma care, surgical critical care, acute care surgery and burn-related conditions in the Division of Trauma, Critical Care and Burn within the Department of Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. My practice focuses on caring for patients with serious injuries and complex surgical needs, providing expert treatment across every stage of recovery.
As an acute care surgeon in the division, I deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. I believe every patient deserves an unwavering advocate, and I am committed to ensuring their medical and healthcare needs are addressed with the highest level of attention and expertise.
My clinical interests include trauma, critical care, acute care surgery and burns. I work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care for patients facing complex and often life-threatening conditions. My goal is to help patients and their families navigate challenging circumstances with confidence, clear communication and personalized treatment plans.
As the division’s associate trauma medical director, I am committed to advancing excellence in trauma care. Working within an academic medical center provides access to innovative technologies, groundbreaking research and state-of-the-art facilities that help physicians continually improve patient outcomes.
