About Me
I am a board-certified psychiatrist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in general psychiatry, providing compassionate mental health care for individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and other psychiatric conditions.
My patients can rely on me for thoughtful, evidence-based care and open, respectful communication. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives personalized treatment that supports their mental and emotional well-being.
In addition to my clinical work, I am dedicated to advancing psychiatric education and serve as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Smith has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
