About Me
As a pulmonologist and intensive care physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I enjoy providing excellent, evidence-based care to patients both in the hospital and in our pulmonary clinic. In the clinic, I specialize in the care of patients with asthma but also treat a wide variety of general pulmonary issues. In the hospital, I help take care of patients who have been hospitalized with respiratory illnesses as well as those who are critically ill in the intensive care unit.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, playing classical piano, and training for and participating in triathlons.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 10/25/2021, Dr. Cooper has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Dr. Cooper is always willing to explain what is going on with my health concerns. He makes me feel comfortable with my course of treatment.
Very good
He spent a good deal of time explaining to me what is going on with my lungs. He showed me the CT scans that have been done and compared them. I was able to see how the illness has been progressing.
The care for you.
Everything went well. We can communicate well.
