Biography
As a certified nurse practitioner with the Department of Orthopeadics, I specialize in treating foot and ankle conditions. My clinical responsibilities include conducting foot exams and providing ongoing care for diabetic patients, and treating issues like nail fungus, heel pain, corns and calluses.
Before choosing to attend The Ohio State University College of Nursing, I considered becoming a teacher. I love that my job as a nurse practitioner combines my passions for education and helping people and allows me to foster genuine relationships with my patients.

Becky Paul was very careful when trimming my toenails.
She in very knowledgeable about general health issues., not just podiatry.

She was very careful with my foot, applied a pad around where she had worked that protected the area, which made it easy for me to walk. She answered my questions and gave me follow up instructions. I asked if I could see her again when I have further podiatry issues. Very impressed with her.
Becky explains anything about my feet & diabetes so I understand quite well. She is always friendly & caring.

This referral visit was one of the single best experiences I've had within the OSU healthcare system in many, many years. The provider actively listened, did not interrupt, and offered clear, helpful information. She acted as if I mattered and I left feeling like a person, not an inconvenience.
I feel like she could've done more to actually help me with my issue. At least shave down my toe instead of saying a nail salon should be okay. I'm obviously nervous and they are not health professionals. That nail is sensitive.
