About Me
As a non-invasive cardiologist and the interim co-director of cardiac computerized tomography (CT) at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I diagnose and treat patients for cardiovascular diseases. I have extensive experience in various cardiac imaging techniques, and I regularly see patients for structural heart conditions, valve disorders, hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia. In my practice, I also emphasize preventive measures to help patients preserve and improve their quality of life.
One of the most rewarding aspects of cardiology is the opportunity to get to know my patients and build long-term relationships with them. I enjoy listening to patients and figuring out what is most important to them. These conversations allow me to create personalized treatment plans that most appropriately address their concerns and align with their values.
It’s a privilege to be part of such an impressive academic medical center and work alongside exceptional colleagues who are devoted to providing the best care possible for our patients. I also appreciate the commitment to research here at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. My own scholarly work has primarily focused on strategies to enhance cardiac CT.
My role includes serving as the wellness representative for cardiovascular diseases. I also enjoy educating and mentoring the next generation of physicians as an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine, and I was honored to receive an Excellence in Teaching Award in 2024. Learners of all levels also round with me in the hospital and work in my clinic to learn about cardiovascular pathophysiology and best practices for treating patients with heart disease.
