I was born in Dublin, Ohio and eventually moved to Fort Mill, South Carolina. I obtained my Bachelor's in Exercise Science while minoring in Psychology at High Point University in North Carolina. While receiving my undergraduate education, I was a Decathlete on the Division 1 Track and Field program and captained the team for two seasons. Post graduation, I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist that led me to work several jobs including coaching high school track, corporate wellness training, and sport performance coaching. I returned to HPU a year later where I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I then completed postgraduate training at The Ohio State University in their rigorous Sports Physical Therapy Residency program. In 2025, Bradley became a board certified specialist in sports physical therapy.
I am also a published author of a manuscript on BCAAs and Satiety in the Journal of Human Nutrition & Metabolism. My clinical interests include knee injury rehabilitation, adaptive athletics, the tactical athlete, and sports performance.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy fishing, surfing, hiking, running, playing soccer, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Kanney has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
