Biography
I am a neurological surgeon specializing in treating spinal disorders. I address a range of issues including sciatica, herniated discs, spinal fractures and sprains, spinal stenosis and spinal cancers.
I have advanced training and expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, including endoscopic spine surgery, spinal deformity and spinal oncology. I always strive to find the least invasive option that will treat the problem effectively and help optimize patient outcomes. My patients can rely on me for care that is comprehensive and compassionate. I also value patient education and ensure patients and their families fully understand their conditions and all treatment options.

This also creates an environment that fosters meaningful clinical research. We’re continually finding ways to advance neurosurgery and spinal care, and my own research is focused on developing new strategies to improve treatments and clinical outcomes. I have authored more than 30 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, and I serve as a reviewer for several neurosurgery publications.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. My experience with my provider at The Ohio State University was excellent. He came in to see me before the nurse had even finished, explaining that he was asked to prioritize my case. He immediately apologized for my wait, which I appreciated.He took the time to go over my X-rays with me and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. What stood out most was that he genuinely listened and showed real concern about what I've been going through-especially my inability to walk long distances since injuring my back four months ago.He was thorough and proactive, ordering a full MRI of my entire spine and neck, something I feel should have been done by previous providers but wasn't. I left feeling heard, taken seriously, and confident that we are finally getting to the root of the problem.

Dr Park was excellent he went over all of my images & took time to explain things, he did not rush through things or make us feel we was just a number he was very professional and yet very personable, he left us know of where we stood on any possible procedures. Left plenty of time for us to have any further questions - the entire staff was amazing & such team work. Very impressed & would certainly recommend.
