Biography
I am a neurological surgeon specializing in treating spinal disorders. I address a range of issues including sciatica, herniated discs, spinal fractures and sprains, spinal stenosis and spinal cancers.
I have advanced training and expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, including endoscopic spine surgery, spinal deformity and spinal oncology. I always strive to find the least invasive option that will treat the problem effectively and help optimize patient outcomes. My patients can rely on me for care that is comprehensive and compassionate. I also value patient education and ensure patients and their families fully understand their conditions and all treatment options.
The highly specialized nature of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the OSUCCC – James allows us to provide the best and most innovative care for our patients. This also creates an environment that fosters meaningful clinical research. We’re continually finding ways to advance neurosurgery and spinal care, and my own research is focused on developing new strategies to improve treatments and clinical outcomes. I have authored more than 30 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, and I serve as a reviewer for several neurosurgery publications.
