About Me
As a dermatologist, I specialize in oncodermatology, which is specialty supportive dermatological care for patients undergoing cancer treatment. This includes assessment and treatment of skin, hair and nail side effects from chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation and stem cell transplant. I perform lesion checks and total body skin examinations for cancer patients and survivors. I also see patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, a rare type of skin cancer. Additionally, I see general dermatology patients in a community practice setting.
I'm passionate about caring for cancer patients because their skin conditions can seriously impact their quality of life. I like to sit and listen to patients' stories while carefully examining their skin. I use biopsies and other diagnostics tests when necessary to come up with a diagnosis, and I think about the patients' needs and preferences when developing a treatment plan.
Working at Ohio State feels like coming home - I'm a Columbus area native and an Ohio State alum (BS/BA 2010). I'm excited to be working in a bustling academic environment where I can take part in patient care, research, and education.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, husband, and dog, hiking, trying new restaurants, traveling, cooking and reading.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

The physician was very business like. Came in asked the reason for the visit. Examined the areas of concern and make a decision as to treatment. Had the young lady set things up numbed the area of concern and doctor came back in and did the biopsy. Did explain there could be a cancer under the biopsy.
