Biography
I’m a gynecologist who specializes in ambulatory gynecology care and women’s health. In a typical day, I see patients for annual physical exams, contraceptive management and menstrual concerns. At our office, I also perform diagnostic procedures such as colposcopy, LEEP (loop electrical excision procedure) and endometrial sampling to check for any abnormalities.
I love seeing Internal Medicine residents so eager to gain gynecology experience during rotations. Working with these students reminds me why I became a physician!

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr. Lonzer has been professional, approachable, and considering I see her only once a year for my annual female exam, she remembers me or must look at my file and when she comes into the room it seems that she remembers me and knows me. Which is a great feeling to feel "seen".
I am generally terrified to go to the OB/GYN and Dr. Lonser made the experience much less stressful. She explained everything clearly, asked follow up questions, and kept the mood light.
