Understanding, attentive, compassionate
I've seen many providers at OSU. Dr. Curtis is the very best. He is well-prepared and extremely knowledgeable. He is careful, thorough and proactive. He is also very patient and kind. I feel fortunate to be one of his patients.
Really listened to my concerns and ensured that if laboratory testing did not reveal the answers I was looking for that my concerns would still be taken seriously. I work in a laboratory, so I have a lot of assorted medical knowledge but don't necessarily know what is relevant and how it all fits together, and the doctor was wonderful at working with the level of knowledge I had. I've had some poor providers who gave me misinformation about my health, and I've done a lot of googling to try and fill in the gaps, and the doctor was wonderful about treating me like I was intelligent while guiding me toward the right conclusions and not belittling me in the areas where I was a bit misguided. He ordered all of the laboratory tests I was going to ask for, plus others that I wouldn't have thought of.

Dr Curtis is always willing to interact with my other health care providers to provide optimum care for an often complicated problems which come up.
Thorough
Dr. Curtis listens, answers questions, explains medication dosages, and encourages contacting him with any questions and/or concerns.
Dr. Casey Curtis did understand my condition fully. It is rare to find somebody who gets me and my medical issues on the first visit.
The doctor with whom I had scheduled the new patient appointment, Dr. Curtis, came to the exam room after my initial interview with his assistant. He was pleasant and courteous to me and asked more questions about my condition and my background. He explained to me some of the challenges involved with transitioning my care from the previous allergist ( who has now retired) to his care, and said that he would contact the other doctors' office. I signed a document for the release of my allergy care information to Dr. Curtis. Dr. Curtis said that he wanted me to return to see him in 4 weeks time, and in the meantime I should continue to receive my allergy shots from the existing providers office until further notice.
I appreciated his expertise and explanations of treatment options available to me, and the pro's and con's of each.
Dr. Curtis always listens, cares about my condition, and works with me and the other doctors managing my care to best address my health concerns. He answers my questions and understands my concerns.
I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Curtis. I appreciate all that he does.
