Biography

I am a clinical professor in the Department of Pathology as well as the Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology. I completed my residency in dermatology at the University of Rochester and my fellowship in dermatopathology at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center.

My interests include cutaneous lymphomas, inflammatory skin disorders and medical education. I am an active member of the American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). In addition to pathology, I see patients with cutaneous lymphoma at the OSUCCC – James.

Academics and research

I am a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist with a research focus on early diagnosis and differentiation of cutaneous lymphoma from inflammatory skin disorders as well as cutaneous lymphoma therapeutics. I am part of a multidisciplinary investigative team evaluating the impact of tumor microenvironments on treatment resistance in the setting of cutaneous lymphoma; this research is the recipient of a 2021 Pelotonia Idea Award.
