Biography

I’m an oncology and acute care nurse practitioner at the OSUCCC – James. I work with late-stage and end-stage oncology patients and their families. These are the patients that need the most support, education and compassion. I frequently tell my patients and families that if they don’t understand the plan for their care, disease or medications, to let me help them. That's what I’m here for.

The James is unlike any other medical center I have been exposed to in my more than 30 years of practice. In fact, I moved 600 miles to work here. The compassion, genuine concern and supportive services far exceed that of other medical systems I’ve worked in. The respect for the human dignity of our patients, their families and our coworkers makes this a unique place to work. I can't imagine being anywhere else.
