About Me

Charles Hardebeck, MD, is director of nuclear cardiology and an assistant professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Dr. Hardebeck earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed his residency in internal medicine at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at Miami Valley Hospital and Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Hardebeck received the 2009 Charles F. Wooley MD Transmission of Excellence Teaching Award from the cardiology fellowship program at The Ohio State University for his contribution to fellowship education. He has published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles, and his clinical and research interests include nuclear cardiac imaging and physiologic measurements during stress testing.

Dr. Hardebeck directs training in nuclear cardiology for the cardiology fellowship program, and is a regular lecturer for this program as well as the nursing/physiology stress lab staff of Ohio State’s Ross Heart Hospital.
