Biography
As a maternal-fetal medicine physician, I care for women whose pregnancies are high-risk due to a current or prior pregnancy complication, maternal medical condition or fetal condition. Pregnancy can be happy and exciting, but it can also feel scary and overwhelming with certain medical conditions or complications. I became a maternal-fetal medicine physician because I feel passionate about supporting and partnering with my patients through their pregnancy.
As a physician, I believe in the power of listening and the importance of understanding the perspective and the context in which you are helping someone navigate their pregnancy. This allows me to provide in-depth information and guidance on any condition my patients are managing with the goal of delivering thoughtful, personalized care to help them achieve their goals and feel heard and cared for during their pregnancy.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring Columbus and traveling with my husband, two young children, and black Labrador retriever, doing yoga and trying new restaurants with friends.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Christine Field has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
