Biography
I am a clinical pharmacist and researcher at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center General Internal Medicine Clinics and Ohio State University Physicians, Inc., where I serve as lead clinical pharmacist for Ambulatory Care and as assistant professor of Practice in the Department of Internal Medicine. My research focuses on optimizing and sustaining pharmacist-led clinical services in primary care through innovative reimbursement models, digital health integration and collaborative practice expansion.
My work to-date includes developing scalable models for remote patient monitoring, evaluating pharmacist reimbursement and billing practices following provider status recognition, and advancing mental health and substance use disorder management in primary care settings. My scholarship has contributed to improved frameworks for pharmacist documentation, billing and leadership development within interdisciplinary care teams.
I have co-authored numerous publications in high-impact journals, including JAMA, the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association and the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine. My contributions have been recognized nationally through honors such as the American Pharmacists Association Foundation Pinnacle Award for Team Collaboration and the Society of General Internal Medicine Hamolsky Scientific Presentation Award.
