Biography

I am Cosette Tolley, MSN, APRN, ACHPN, and I specialize in palliative medicine for patients living with serious illnesses. My practice at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (the OSUCCC – James) focuses on symptom management, shared decision-making and helping patients and families navigate complex medical situations while maintaining the highest possible quality of life.

I am passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care that supports the physical, emotional and practical needs of individuals facing serious illness. I believe that every patient deserves care that reflects their personal goals, values and preferences. Through open communication and collaboration, I work closely with patients and their loved ones to develop care plans that align with what matters most to them.

As a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in palliative medicine, I partner with a multidisciplinary team to address symptoms, provide guidance during important healthcare decisions and support patients and families throughout their care journey. My goal is to help patients achieve the best possible quality of life while receiving high-quality, evidence-based care delivered with compassion and respect.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing degree from The Ohio State University College of Nursing and am board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I also hold the Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN) credential, reflecting my commitment to specialized palliative care.
