Biography
I am a second-generation neurosurgeon, specializing in spinal oncology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the OSUCCC – James. My clinical work is focused on treating rare and complex spinal tumors, and my patients can always rely on me for high-quality, supportive care through each stage of their health care journey
I am an assistant professor of Neurosurgery in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I also help lead several national spine surgery courses and am honored to have received multiple awards for excellence in education.

Academics and research
I am an assistant clinical professor of Neurological Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and my academic work is focused on strategies to improve neurosurgical care. My goal is to bridge the gap between data-driven insights and real-world patient outcomes
My research integrates computational methods and large-scale data analysis to address critical questions in neurosurgical care. I helped establish the Neurosurgical Digital Intelligence Laboratory at The Ohio State University, where I lead projects that apply data science to enhance surgical decision-making. My team and I address topics spanning from AI applications in health care to digital biomarker discovery. My work has been published in leading neurosurgical and oncology journals and aims to bridge the gap between data-driven insights and real-world patient outcomes.
My work has been published in leading neurosurgical and oncology journals, and I serve as a faculty member for several national spine surgery courses. I am also passionate about mentoring the next generation of providers and have received awards for my commitment to education.
