Physical Therapist
I am Daniel Sulka, PT, DPT, NCS, a physical therapist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in neurological rehabilitation, vestibular therapy and dry needling. My practice focuses on helping people improve movement, function and quality of life through individualized physical therapy for neurologic and neuromuscular conditions.
As a physical therapist in the Division of Neurological Rehabilitation within Rehabilitation Services at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I care for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions including functional movement disorders, functional neurological disorders and spinal cord injuries. I am a board-certified specialist in neurological physical therapy and am a member of the medical center’s vestibular interdisciplinary team, working with patients who have balance and vestibular disorders. My clinical approach combines evidence-based neurological rehabilitation with orthopedics principles to address pain, mobility limitations, range-of-motion impairments and neuromuscular dysfunction.
I have a particular interest in integrating manual therapy techniques and dry needling into comprehensive treatment plans, when appropriate. By taking a holistic view of each patient’s needs, I strive to help individuals achieve meaningful functional improvements in their bodies and have greater confidence in their daily activities.
My goal is to partner with each patient to create a personalized rehabilitation plan that supports recovery, independence and long-term wellness.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Daniel Sulka has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
