A nurse practitioner is extensively trained to treat illness or disease and to prescribe medication to their patients. They work on teams with a licensed physician, but can treat patients with significant autonomy. Nurse practitioners work in a variety of settings, including primary care and various other medical and surgical specialties.

Danielle was new to me - as my regular doc (of 20 years) is on leave. Danielle was delightful, attentive, helpful, offered solutions, and asked if I would like referrals - which I responded "is that an option?" and "Yes Please!" She spent more time than necessary with me, listening to medical issues beyond her purview of expertise, and expressed empathy as well as solutions. I left the appointment feeling "heard and seen", which was incredibly important to me as a patient, and as a client of the OSU Medical complex. I have referred her name to a friend who is currently looking for a practitioner - after relaying my positive experience.

My care provider is the best. I drove two hours just to see her for my healthcare. She listens to everything I say and offers suggestions in ways that I can understand. She is very knowledgeable about different contraceptives and always makes sure I am comfortable with what she prescribes. She also always makes sure all of my questions are answered and I really appreciate that I never feel rushed during my appointment.
She was hands down the best provider I have ever seen. She will be my go to from here on out. Very friendly, seemed like she truest cared about my experience, and explained everything that was going to happen at my appointment.

LOVED Danielle. I was the most comfortable during this OBGYN visit than I ever have been in the past with other providers (not at OSU). She was efficient but also wasn't rushed and took time to discuss things that I had questions about. She referenced up-to-date evidence-based care and offered clarity on topics that I had inaccurate information on (like recommended frequency of pap smears). I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Danielle.

It was Excellent, I felt safe, I felt heard. I felt all my needs were met. --- I would have liked my previous OB/GYN medical records sent over, I had to recall my past issues and talked through everything.
Ms. Danielle was patient, kind, professional, cheerful, gentle, explained as she went along. And it was one of the least stressful visits I've ever had. She was also excellent answering MyChart questions.
