I also served as the dean of Oriental Medicine at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, from 2001 to 2005, where I designed and established the first professional master’s acupuncture program in Ohio. Since 2005, I have been working at the Ohio State Center for Integrative Medicine, where I am an assistant professor – clinical. Other positions I hold include being a professor of the doctorate program at the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Minneapolis, Minneapolis, and a senior expert of the first expert committee of China-U.S. Institute for Acupuncture and Rehabilitation at Wenzhou Medical University in China. At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
