Biography
I am a certified physician assistant with an extensive background in family medicine, residential care and emergency treatment. In my current role at Primary Care Stoneridge in Dublin, I treat patients for acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism, anxiety and depression.
I encourage every patient to take an active role in their health care. When patients come to see me, they can expect a collaborative approach that emphasizes shared decision-making with a focus on using preventative measures to help achieve their wellness goals. I believe establishing a strong patient–provider relationship helps maintain open communication and active participation, resulting in better patient outcomes.
I am passionate about providing the best care possible, and I was honored to receive my hometown’s Favorite Family Provider Award in 2018. My previous experience also included working in residential medicine at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. I collaborated with infectious disease specialists and government health departments on treatment protocols for the most vulnerable and at-risk patients in assisted living, skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

Desiree is far and above the best primary care provider I have ever had. Ive had truly terrible experiences with other providers in the past and Desiree's skills, professionalism, care model, personality, and overall experience have been life changing. I am dealing with many complex issues in my health and regular life (many poor SDOH metrics) and she really listens and goes above and beyond to do the best she can for patients and make them feel heard and cared for. I hope I don't have to get a different primary care provider for a long time if ever because she really is that good. I don't think I trust anyone else better for this role in my medical team. Please do everything you can to keep her in this region and my insurance networks
