Biography
I am a certified physician assistant with an extensive background in family medicine, residential care and emergency treatment. In my current role at Primary Care Stoneridge in Dublin, I treat patients for acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism, anxiety and depression.
I encourage every patient to take an active role in their health care. When patients come to see me, they can expect a collaborative approach that emphasizes shared decision-making with a focus on using preventative measures to help achieve their wellness goals. I believe establishing a strong patient–provider relationship helps maintain open communication and active participation, resulting in better patient outcomes.
I am passionate about providing the best care possible, and I was honored to receive my hometown’s Favorite Family Provider Award in 2018. My previous experience also included working in residential medicine at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. I collaborated with infectious disease specialists and government health departments on treatment protocols for the most vulnerable and at-risk patients in assisted living, skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

She is wonderful
Excellent first time meeting and establishing care with Dr. She was thorough and explained everything clearly and listened to my concerns.
She seemed rushed and acted like she was trying to finish the interaction as quickly as possible. I told her my concerns about struggling to concentrate while at work and she just told me to stay off my phone, which wasn't helpful
She was great. She listened, provided guidance, and ensured I was satisfied before she left the exam room.
Desi is a very caring, personal PCP - the best I have ever had. She listens, remembers, and provides treatment with care and expertise. She's the best!
