Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dharti Dua has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

Dr. Dua took great care to listen thoroughly and patiently. She worked through all possible options for my head and neck pain. She ordered images to rule out serious issues and referred me to PT in hopes that would address an issue I'd had for months. As a result, I found relief to my issue after a short time working with PT. I was very pleased with Dr. Dua's bedside manner and her thorough approach to finding an answer to my issue. I would highly recommend her to family and friends.
Dr. Dua spent a great amount of time with me. Dr. Dua is an excellent physician.
Good
Attentive and listened to me.
Always listening and very helpful with making sure that I understand everything discussed. Very friendly and professional.
Only the best
She was very focused on me getting through a survey of 50 questions at this hour long first appointment. My answering every question felt most important so we had time for each one. When I made the appointment 4 months ago and waited through some hellish pain as my PCP followed me, I just felt a need for some mutual conversation about those months. I emphasized that it was dental-induced pain and yet the after-visit summary did not indicate that at the description on the top. I guess that was not one of the headache types from answering the survey. By the last few minutes when I was allowed to ask questions, I was mentally exhausted and mentioned they were on the one page sheet I had to fill out and bring but I could only then think of one by then. She ordered two bloodtests and an MRI, non-emergency one. I hoped for some back and forth conversation with an hour intake appointment. Not having that and having this rapid set of questions to get in made sense if the goal is to sift through a form to get to a diagnosis. My goal was to communicate and be heard and ask questions to a specialist who could deal with my complicated medical history.
Empathetic and covered all concerns. Took extra time with me because I had a fall just before appointment
Good
She was very attentive, gave me plenty of time to speak about my concerns, and developed a plan to address my needs. Very satisfied.
Dr. Dua is excellent in talking with me in terms I could understand and by asking questions to further understand how I feel so that she can make the right decisions. She also explained the difference between what I was feeling and could possibly experience with side effects to medication and as it relates to my mental health. This eased my fear of treatment.
Good Doctor
Very attentive and patient
Dr. Dua was very thorough and made me feel heard. That is super important to me in a provider. She was very friendly, and never made me feel rushed. Five stars!
She was very caring and treated me as an equal it was the best i've ever felt when talking to a doctor
Disappointing that the provider did not provide any recommendations on what could be done to improve conditions
Dr. Dua is trying hard to treat a very rare illness. I appreciate her efforts
I didn't feel like my health problems/concerns were listened to. I felt like this provider didn't care about my health at all and did not believe any of the concerns that I had regarding my health. I also feel like even with any information I have given said provider she didn't believe a word that I said and constantly look like she was bored and didn't want to even be dealing with me. Even though it was my first time with the provider I will no longer be going to set provider and will be trying to find another provider through OSU who will actually seem to care about my health and concerns for my health.
Very friendly, listen to my questions and concerns and explained everything to me.
Dr. Dua is excellent, she answered all my questions. My health issue has been resolved. I'm very satisfied with her treatment plan and medical approach.
