Physician, Assistant Professor
Primary Care - General Internal Medicine, Pediatrics
Department: Internal Medicine
I take care of both adults and children in my role as a primary care physician. My goal is to help my patients live longer, happier lives by emphasizing preventive health care and empowering them to take ownership of their health care. I also help patients manage chronic illnesses and often treat conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.
My approach involves taking the whole person into account to help them achieve their goals and I value building trusting relationships with each patient. When patients come to see me, they can trust that I will work collaboratively with them to find the treatment options that best suit their specific situations and will help them achieve long-term health.
I love working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because the people, resources and facilities are top notch. There is a real sense of belonging and family here at Ohio State and I’m proud to be part of the team.
My role also includes training future physicians. I am an assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I often work with medical students and residents in the clinic.
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing golf, traveling and spending time with my family.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
