Biography
I am Dylan Houser, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, COMT, and as a physical therapist I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of spinal pain and orthopedic conditions. My practice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center focuses on manual therapy, athletic rehabilitation and helping patients restore function so they can return to the activities that matter most to them.
I believe the best care starts with building a strong therapeutic alliance. I take the time to understand each patient's condition, goals and concerns so I can treat the whole person, not just a diagnosis. By working together, we create an individualized treatment plan designed to reduce pain, improve movement and support long-term health and wellness.
As a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist with advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy and certification in the McKenzie Method, I have specialized expertise in the treatment of spinal conditions, orthopedic injuries and movement-related disorders. My approach combines evidence-based care, hands-on treatment techniques and patient education to help individuals better understand their condition and play an active role in their recovery.
Teaching and mentorship are important parts of my professional life. At the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I have contributed to educational programs for physical therapy, athletic training and dentistry learners, and I value opportunities to support the development of students and early career physical therapists. I have found that teaching strengthens my own knowledge while fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
I am also completing fellowship training in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University School of Rehabilitation Sciences, where I have participated in clinical mentorship, research activities and educational presentations that further advance my expertise in patient care.
