I am a board-certified nurse practitioner providing primary care for adults and adolescents at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with an emphasis on preventive medicine and women’s health. I believe in an evidence-based, holistic approach that addresses both physical and mental health. When patients come to see me, we’ll work together to develop a care plan that includes healthy nutrition, exercise and mindfulness to help manage or prevent chronic illness.
I love primary care because it allows me to meet my patients where they are. It’s a privilege to help people reach their health and wellness goals through incremental, achievable steps. I enjoy treating multiple generations of the same family and value the long-term relationships I can form with my patients.
Ohio State is a top academic medical center, and I am proud to be part of the team. The resources available allow me to offer my patients the most advanced care and access to innovative research and clinical trials.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about helping prepare future clinicians. My role includes teaching and precepting graduate students and advanced practice fellows, and I am a member of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship Advisory Committee. I also provide care for underserved patients at the Columbus Free Clinic and has served as chairperson for the Department of Family and Community Service’s APP Wellness Committee.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband and three children. I enjoy reading and traveling.
