About Me

As a physician assistant, I specialize in treating patients with acute and traumatic orthopedic injuries. I am passionate about delivering the most supportive, compassionate care possible to help people through this vulnerable time. I go to great lengths to be easily accessible, and I always ensure each patient fully understands their diagnosis and treatment plan.

I’m also focused on offering my patients the necessary support to mentally heal from their trauma. I led the team that founded the Ohio State Orthopedic Trauma Survivor Event, which brings patients together annually for a day of support and collaboration.

I appreciate the abundant resources here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center that enable me to continue providing the highest quality patient care possible. My work with patients and colleagues has been recognized over the years. I have been honored with The Ohio State University Medical Center Random Act of Kindness Award and have received a certificate of excellence as a top-performing provider.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I have a strong interest in patient care process improvement and minimizing post operative wound infections. I participated in research focused on negative pressure wound therapy in spinal fusion patients and coauthored an article published in the peer-reviewed International Wound Journal. I also spearheaded a quality improvement project that focused on deep vein thrombosis management in the orthopedic trauma patient population, with the goals of minimizing the financial burden on patients and addressing overcrowding in the emergency department.
