As a graduate from The Ohio State University College of Nursing, the value of evidence-based, personalized care is at the core of my advanced nursing practice. I’m passionate about providing high-quality care that improves the lives and well-being of my patients and their families. Building patient relationships is important, and I enjoy supporting patients through all phases of their health experience.
I’m fortunate and proud to work alongside our outstanding team in the Department of Otolaryngology. Through education, research and clinical care, we strive for excellence in patient care and outcomes.
In my free time, I enjoy running, boating, watching collegiate athletics and spending time with my family.

Emily was GREAT!! She took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions.
I saw Dr. Pisut over a year ago, and she was fine, but a bit gruff and curt. She must have been having a bad day, because this visit she was an amazing provider giving me all sorts of background on my condition and a lot of empathy. I'll be happy to see her again if I need an ENT again!
Having my throat examined was not as horrible as I thought it would be.

Emily always does a great job cleaning the wax from my ears. It doesn't hurt at all and she is very thorough.

Emily is amazing. I truly hope she is able to see this. I was fortunate to be able to make my original apt. w/her very last minute, & I am so thankful I was. I had very urgent concerns regarding a sudden loss of hearing, & she took the time to thoroughly examine me & assess my symptoms. She went out of her way to get me the testing I needed, & followed up with me after my visit. She even allowed me to schedule my next apt. during her lunch break b/c it was my only availability. She was a lifesaver & I hope she knows how much she helped me!
Very easy to talk with and was able to provide treatment quickly. I felt very good when leaving and plan to continue my 6-month appointments for ear cleaning.
I have follow up appointments every 6 months, and I can only think of positive things when going to these appointments.
Emily took the time to talk to me & learn about my medical history.
Emily know her stuff, so well, she occasionally talked a little fast for my old ears. I was in for hearing loss and she spoke quickly like I could hear her every word.

My care provider listened intently to my issues, thoroughly explained the issues I have been facing, and provided overall excellent care.
There were only good experiences with Emily and the staff , I was able to get an appointment and pick up some medications that solved my issue from CVS as a result of prescribed medications. I have had this problem before because of narrow ear canals and balance issues and this was one of the most helpful visits I have had.
Emily helped get my dad out of the wheelchair and on to the chair and back. She was great.
