As a graduate from The Ohio State University College of Nursing, the value of evidence-based, personalized care is at the core of my advanced nursing practice. I’m passionate about providing high-quality care that improves the lives and well-being of my patients and their families. Building patient relationships is important, and I enjoy supporting patients through all phases of their health experience.
I’m fortunate and proud to work alongside our outstanding team in the Department of Otolaryngology. Through education, research and clinical care, we strive for excellence in patient care and outcomes.
In my free time, I enjoy running, boating, watching collegiate athletics and spending time with my family.

Nice. Explained things well.
The doctor was very thorough and asking me questions about my sore throat and went so far as to do a scope in the office to see what was going on. My previous PCP, not with Ohio State, just kept throwing antibiotics at me and this doctor actually listened, and then thought outside the box to figure out what might be causing my chronic sore throat.
She spoke directly to my mother (rather than me) and gave her time to answer, both a good reflection on Emily. She also took time to answer my mothers questions and describe the planned intervention.
Extremely supportive to a patient with dementia and patient's daughter

Emily Pisut is an excellent health provider. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She also is gentle in her manner when performing the cleaning of my ears.

Audiologist seemed to be rushed!! Did not seem Interested to tell me about hearing aid available. Just said " you weren't scheduled to talk about hearing aids " NP was competent in her skill using scope and removing Cerumen from both ears. Did not have any problems afterwards! Emily was great !!

Provider only addressed one issue, hearing loss. Made the appointment for information on balance issues not because I am having difficulty hearing When I made the appointment I stressed balance, that I have been using Epley procedure, and person said these were the proper providers

Dr. Melissa S. Checked my ears for wax and knew I needed further help Ashe araanged for Emily P. Immediately for herto remove the was from my ears. She was kind and able to remove all the was especially from my right ear. I was instruced to care for my earsIn removal of was. No Q-tips anymore and liquid in ears. I learn something every day still.
She was happy and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and confident in her ability even though this was my first visit with her.
