Physician, Assistant Professor
Urology
Department: Urology
As a reconstructive urologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in gender-affirming genital surgical care and a variety of reconstructive conditions. Common reconstructive diagnoses include urethral stricture disease, ureteral stricture disease, stress urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, adult acquired buried penis, and neurogenic bladder.
My patients can rely on me for evidence-based, compassionate care that is tailored to their unique needs and values. I work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives the best treatment possible to meet their goals of care.
I chose a career in medicine because I am passionate about improving the health of my community. I am especially driven by a commitment to improving outcomes for underserved populations. This has been a guiding principle throughout my career and motivates my clinical and research work focused on gender-affirming care, health disparities, and global health.
I am also energized by educating the next generation of urologists, which is part of my role as an assistant clinical professor of Urology in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Being part of their surgical and academic training is one of the most fun and rewarding parts of my job.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
