Biography
I am a board-certified podiatrist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the foot and ankle, including diabetic complications, fractures, and deformities. My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter.
I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers.
I am an assistant clinical professor of Orthopedics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Not attentive and really didn't explain any options for my situation
Dr Monson was great! He listened to my concerns & immediately made me feel validated. He clearly articulated his plan.

Dr.Monson was patient with me as I discussed multiple other health issues contributing to my foot recovery. He was willing to listen and come up with a return to work plan that was conservative and tailored to my personal needs.
Dr. Monson worked me into his schedule when I sent a MyChart message asking about symptoms I was having. As always, he was friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable--and provided treatment to address the symptoms. Excellent care!

Seeing Dr. Monson is like visiting with a friend, he is personable, pleasant, and takes his time with you. He is one of the few medical professionals that doesn't make you feel like you are on a timeclock.

Dr Monson listened to what I had to say and seemed to care about my condition and me as a patient. He was not able to help me but he gave me advice about what he thought I should do going forward to get relief for my toe.
