Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Obole was very patient to listen to me. For over two years, I have been seeing doctors trying to figure out what's going on. He took more time than any other doctor. Ultimately, my issue is likely not his area, however, he still combed through my history and made suggestions on who I should see and why. He offered to do more research on my symptoms and do wahtever he could within his area for me.
He was very cordial, respectful. Managed my concerns - going in I was very nervous about what my diagnosis was going to be, but I felt much better by the end of my appointment. He was very knowledgeable.
