Physical Therapist
I am Evan Luse, DPT, and I specialize in lower-extremity rehabilitation, including postoperative care for athletes recovering from ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, complex multiligament knee surgery and cartilage restoration procedures. My practice focuses on helping athletes return to activity safely through evidence-based rehabilitation and coordinated care.
As a physical therapist with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute, I provide individualized rehabilitation programs designed to help patients recover from injury, restore function and achieve their performance goals. I work closely with the orthopaedic sports medicine team to coordinate postoperative rehabilitation plans and continually refine rehabilitation protocols for athletes recovering from lower-extremity injuries and procedures.
In addition to caring for patients, I serve as a rehabilitation services supervisor, overseeing daily clinic operations and supporting the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services. I also coordinate our outreach partnership with Upper Arlington Schools, helping provide athletic training and sports medicine support within the district’s middle schools and high school.
Education and mentorship are important parts of my work. I serve as a primary mentor in the sports physical therapy residency program and as a guest lecturer in The Ohio State University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where I present on lower-extremity and ACL rehabilitation.
Outside of work, I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle through weight training, cooking, spending time with my dog and traveling with my wife, Cristina.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Evan Luse has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
