Biography
As a retinal specialist and surgeon, I have experience treating diabetic eye diseases, retinal vascular disorders, macular diseases, retinal detachments, complex diabetic retinal detachments and traumatic retinal detachments. My passion for eye care comes from the tremendous role vision has in our lives. I continue to study the latest and most innovative techniques for treating eye diseases in order to provide the highest quality care to my patients.
I believe the best way to care for patients is to understand their unique needs and to tailor the care to according to those needs. I approach each patient as if he or she was a member of my own family and I strive to give the kind of high quality individualized medicine I would want for my family.
Ohio State is a large institution with immense resources and cutting edge technologies. I wanted to be in an environment that fosters continuing education and learning, and the Department of Ophthalmology is just the right setting. With a large residency program and fellowship programs in multiple subspecialties, I have the opportunity to help train future generations of ophthalmologists.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Excellent
Absolutely wonderful very caring and listens to any concerns.
She covered a lot of information very quickly so I felt a bit overwhelmed. Very professional but did not express much warmth.
First rate doctor. She is a great credit to Ohio State University.
She is knowledgeable in her field, but is usually too rushed to take the time to inquire about how I am coping with my condition on a daily basis.
Dr. Yanoga was EXCEPTIONAL!!! The entire experience was top notch!
Very good
