I am an obstetrician-gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages. I provide annual gynecological examinations, treat heavy or painful periods, and offer contraception services and gender-affirming care. What sets me apart is my dual expertise in general obstetrics and gynecology, alongside specialized care in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
I chose a career in medicine because I wanted a career that involved direct contact with people, and was based on science, lifelong learning and the ongoing opportunity to serve my community.
My career path has been positively impacted by working with my peers within and outside of Ob/Gyn, learning from them on a regular basis about being a better doctor as well as being a better person.
It’s also a privilege to work alongside such committed and talented colleagues here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. We are all devoted to providing the best and most personalized patient care possible, and I’m proud to be part of this team.

She always goes over my full medical history. I was hoping for some hormone replacement therapy, but I didn't realize that the type of breast cancer I had could be aggravated by that. I'm really glad she caught that
Dr Hewitt has been my Obgyn for over 3 years and two babies now and my pregnancies have some similarities and some differences and she is always checking to make sure that me and baby are okay and she remembers my first son. She's quick and through and even when I was visibly upset from being in pain and exhausted from having issues with my allergies and pregnancy she cared about my mental and physical health and was very reassuring and sent me to my pcp and communicated with my pcp so I could get proper care during this pregnancy. She is genuinely a great doctor and person.
