Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

My visit with Dr, Lavins was so good in every way that I asked if he would become my primary care physician effective immediately. He had thoroughly reviewed my medical history. He listened to my current concerns. And most importantly, we developed a plan to address my current issues as well as a plan for improving and maintaining the quality of life associated with my healthcare moving forward.
Dr Lavins is by far the best provider I have seen as he knows what he is talking about and he keeps digging to find the diagnosis and doesn't just give up.
Dr. Lavins was very a very conscientious provider who explained in simple understandable terms what I must do at after the visit.
