Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Very thorough, caring, informative, respectful. This was a first visit to establish care. I was very pleased, impressed and appreciative of Dr Lavins
Attentive, professional and thorough.
Dr Lavins is very familiar with my medical history. He listens to my concerns about my elevated blood pressure, shortness of breath and fatigue and then discussed appropriate diagnostic tests. He sent me a message immediately after the results from the tests were sent explaining them thoroughly.
